- Wind turbine supply, installation, and commissioning

- Ongoing maintenance and servicing
- Remote monitoring and performance tracking
- Repair and fault diagnosis

4. Quotations & Contracts
4.1 Quotations
All quotations are subject to site survey and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A quotation does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties.
4.2 Contract Formation
A binding contract is formed when you accept our quotation in writing, agree to these terms, and make any required deposit payment. Specific terms relating to installations, maintenance contracts, and service agreements are covered by separate contracts provided at the time of engagement.
4.3 Cancellation
If you wish to cancel an accepted quotation or contract, cancellation terms will be specified in your individual agreement. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on the stage of work and materials ordered.
5. Pricing & Payment
5.1 Pricing
All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the event of significant changes to material costs, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements prior to contract acceptance.
5.2 Payment Terms
Payment schedules are specified in individual contracts and may include stage payments linked to project milestones. Invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue payments.
5.3 Payment Methods
We accept bank transfers and other payment methods as agreed at the time of contract.
6. Warranties & Guarantees
6.1 Equipment Warranties
Wind turbines and components are supplied with manufacturer warranties. The duration and coverage of these warranties vary by product and will be detailed in your contract documentation.
6.2 Installation Workmanship
We guarantee our installation workmanship for a period specified in your contract. This covers defects in our installation work but does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, or extreme weather events beyond design parameters.
6.3 Performance
While we provide estimated energy generation figures based on site assessments, actual performance depends on wind conditions and other factors beyond our control. Performance estimates are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in a performance warranty.
7. Site Access
You agree to provide reasonable and timely access to the site for surveys, installation, maintenance, and monitoring purposes. This includes:
- Safe and clear access routes for vehicles and equipment
- Access for scheduled and emergency maintenance visits
- Access for remote monitoring equipment servicing
Delays caused by lack of site access may result in additional charges and extended project timelines.
8. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the legal right to install equipment on the site
- Obtaining any necessary landowner or neighbour consents
- Providing accurate site and property information
- Maintaining appropriate insurance for the installed equipment
- Not making unauthorised modifications to installed equipment
- Reporting any faults or damage to us promptly
- Complying with all relevant planning conditions
9. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the highest quality services and information:
- We are not liable for losses arising from factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, grid outages, or regulatory changes
- We are not responsible for the performance of third-party equipment or services (including grid operators and utility companies)
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses including loss of anticipated energy generation or revenue
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, extreme weather events, pandemics, government restrictions, supply chain disruptions, or labour disputes. In such cases, timelines will be extended accordingly.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, designs, and software, is owned by or licensed to Universal Renewables O&M Ltd and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
